Your coin was struck on a split planchet, you can see the metal grain on the reverse which is the split side. I would guess that it weights around 1.5-2 grams, very nice error  |

Planchet shenanigan's pre strike. Weight would be handy for future reference. I'm still looking for the thinnest and or lightest cent planchet coin ever struck. Thanks, Doug.

BTW, I learned years ago as a telephone tech from the "Best Salesman in the World" (his terms), that the key to explaining anything to the "uniformed" is to "Baffle them with bull***", did it work?
