Hello, just purchased this raw. Advertised as 1910 Choice Proof penny. Seller said it was bought from Burt Doling in the 1960s and was marked as Choice proof. The coin has thick rims and an interesting Luster. I see some of there characteristics. Is it a proof? If so I plan on submitting to PCGS. Thank you.

Nice sharp raised rims look like proof coin rims - very good chance of being proof.

It appears to be a proof and possibly an impaired proof. I could see a PR62 grade if it's not impaired.

"Choice Proof" typically is used to describe PR63 or PR64 pieces and it doesn't look like it would grade that high but there's only one way to find out. Send it in.

Looks like it could be a proof (but not a choice proof) Have a picture of the edge?
