Wished it was much better than how it looks now....The date is I think 1918. At first I though 1810. Still a good find and it goes in collection book. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Great pick-up! Was this in a roll that you were searching?

Cant beat the price. You could search 50 boxes & never find one.

Yes, bought a box of pennies from the bank today. Found about 12 other wheat pennies and copper and this one.

Very cool, 1918 is the oldest I've ever found as well. Blew up the shot, your right could be 1918, 10 or even 38 (with the blow up) still it is cool that we can still find these CRHing.
Happy hunting.

I think KittenLove means the same thing I do. My rule anyway is I have to find a Lincoln Cent I want/need in the wild first; then if it is not good enough to hold on to I go buy the upgrade.

The zero on a 1910 is quite large, freakishly large, so yours is most assuredly not a 1910.

Any LWC find in circulation is a cool LWC find, especially one that's 99 years old! Congrats!
