Very nice! I've gotten skunked on 1's lately... I still kept a couple, but they're nothing fancy like yours... I've got $2k in twos coming this week... let's hope I can grab a gen or two out of there!

@FireballXL5 wishing you luck to. I have been only trading $500.00 @ a time. I do have more I have saved but those are the ones you wished one number was the right one. I keep them anyways.

May I ask, what appeals to you about these notes?

Coinfrog...Well....I found some more from the 1960's even if it one is not a Barr Note.

I like the scrambled Strt and I know it isn't worth anything but I can make it into a Strt.

I am saving all Star Notes I come across.

I like finding where there is only 2 numbers in it.

I like doing this because it is fun and it is a hobby.
Plus I like being around money, since I can't buy the Valued PM Notes. So I do the next best thing and that is look though circulated money.

I see two old notes from circulation, a two digit binary, a mixed/jumbled ladder, and a star note... all ones I would keep at this point as well seeing as we are both starting out and trying to build up our library of notes and our keen eye for details and fancy serial numbers.

And what better way to do it than searching face value bank wraps!
Rest in Peace

It's kind of neat that they are all from different districts.

What is the Back Plate number for your series 1963 F99478283A note ? ~ if under 447, it is a Mule and was used on $1 Silver Certificates.

Your 2nd, 3rd & 4th notes Serial Numbers all Match their assigned Plate Positions.

Your K00417317* series 2009 note is a COPE "Switched Plate" variety/error and should have been printed on E1, not E3.

The correct Serial Number for COPE Plate Position E3 is K02017317*.

I have noticed a number of low Serial Number Star notes showing switched plate positions, and when questioning the BEP on their "contact us" site, they don't reply why this is !!

Hope this helps, and if your 1963 note is a Mule, you may want to check series 1935H & 1957B $1 Silver Certificates for the same reverse plate number.
