2x2s Won't Fold Correctly - Coin Community Forum

coin_kid Valued Member United States 381 Posts	Posted 06/14/2017 6:31 pm I am putting a bunch of coins into 2x2s right now. However, a large majority do not fold properly. Does anyone know any tips for folding 2x2s correctly? Thanks for the help. Report this Post to the Staff

TNG Bedrock of the Community United States 10284 Posts	Posted 06/14/2017 6:39 pm I have gotten bundles of 2x2's that had off center windows and poorly aligned folds from dealers and vendors. I remember once writing to them about Dollar sized 2x2's being way off to one side and they just sent me another bundle. I suppose it happens now and then. Report this Post to the Staff

T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 06/14/2017 7:38 pm Hold the 2x2 with two hands close up to the fold, then fold down slowly and evenly . But yes , sometimes they just don't match up . That should be our biggest problems in life ! Report this Post to the Staff

Mark1959 Pillar of the Community 7234 Posts	Posted 06/14/2017 10:03 pm After folding and stapling just trim off the pieces (with scissors) that don't line up perfectly or stick out a little (the inside brown parts that are sticking out from the white top surface. moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 06/15/2017 08:33 am A flat ruler, preferably metal, is placed along the inside center edge where the fold should be. Fold the top against the metal edge. Done. Report this Post to the Staff
