Looks like VF35 - Large motto variety. I'm guessing maybe 30$. Just noticed the hits but still a nice coin.

xf details damaged. reverse is scratched and there is a nasty hit to the reverse especially noticeable in the M in AMERICA. shame. very pretty otherwise but impaired.

obverse rim is nonexistent from 2 to 4 o'clock. this coin is plentiful. there is no need to saddle yourself with these problems. look for a nicer one.

Xf-40 straight. Those very old digs and scratches aren't large enough to trigger a details grade.

I agree with MikeF. I have it as XF-40. Agree about the scratches.

Very nice pictures of the coin. They're clear and clean.

@Childofthewheat - Thanks for noticing the date. I'm pretty certain it's the RPD-011 / VP-008 RPD, as it sure looks like this: https://www.NGCcoin.com/coin-variet...vp-008-5021/

Based on what I paid for it, I was pretty dang happy with everyone's grading of VF-XF, but now with the RPD, I'm bouncing off the walls. I bought this as a cheap type coin. Had no reason to buy it other then it was cheap and looked nice enough, and I was already buying a couple of coins from the seller, so there was no additional shipping.

I'm with Bill Jones on this one VF35 cleaned and perhaps recolored or retoned. Could see it going EF40 too, the TPG's seem to be all over the place on this series in VF through low MS coins. THe RPD is minor, not a really common one though. Many 1864LM have RPD's actually, I think we are around 150+ die pairings, with over 25+ different RPDs.
