AU details. Somebody has taken a rag to the reverse and spruced up all the field they could get at. Still, very nice. I'm seeing some die cracks & some scratches, but where is the doubling supposed to be?
If I'm wrong about the cleaning and it's a basic AU -> MS60 it would be in the 160-225 range.

From what I see, possibly on the lower right corner of the W, appears to be double. All I could see Biedercoins.

Doubling on the I (in) and WE (we). This one is not as dramatic as the 1867 double die.

Okay, now that I know where to look I can see the ghost of the "N". The "W" looks like it has extra wide serif; I did see that the first time around, but didn't think it was a die doubling. So many of the 2-cent pieces that come up here ... it just seems like we're looking for the simple presence or absence of "WE". I need to train myself to be more discerning of all the details in all of the devices.

Frog you are my hero, however, I bought this coin as an unmolested AU-58. Once it arrives I'll post new photos. Thanks for all the responses. Are there any 2c experts out there that can give me an idea if there is any premium for the FS-02-1871-103 variety?

I would have said AU55-AU58 range. I think it is a good pickup -- westcoin is the go-to answer man for Two Cents.
