It is shinny, near mint, and is picked up by a magnet so it's not a zinc one.

Anyone know it's worth or did I truly unique find.

Thanks in advance.

Was it possibly struck on a dime planchet? Also, could you post photographs of it?

The magnet test result is interesting.
Likely a fake, but we can try to help.

Not sure if plated. We have a coin machine at work and this little guy didn't pass the test.

Do you mean a coin counter & that it was kicked out? How much does yours weigh? Do you have calipers or a precise ruler?

In the pictures all of the devices (printing, etc) look larger, kind of "puffy", as you would expect from a plated coin.

and I also think it is plated.
Do you have access to a good scale to weigh it?

I saw your old post. I do not see on this post no photos. Your camera is down?. To answer: many coins was plated iron, steel (same material in essence). The novelty companies use for the looking beauty.. I answer early in the last day to this: 1991, 1992 and 1993 no magnetic coins was strike by the Mint on any of the sites.

Plating with Zink, will not make the coin been magnetic. Yes the Zink is electromagnetic but not magnetic (physic and proprieties of materials). The folk say could be slit magnetic, yes but not with the tests a collectors do, To understand more: In 90 % Cooper I can make everything to be temporary magnetic. The metals always are conductive and could be electromagnetics.

If you want more for your coin, I need photos, dimensions, weight .
