Just bought a few coins at a local flea market and one was this 1881 H 10c.......hoping for a good result but unlikely.........obverse 1 or 2 please?

Type 2.
I find the easiest way is to check the opening in the ear cavity.
A Type 1 is more closed.

OBV2
The undercut portion below the neck occurs only to the back portion.
The strand of hair closest to the eye is quite thick and does not continue up to the forehead.
On OBV1 the undercut portion extends along the entire bottom of the neck and the corresponding strand of hair is thin and continues up to the forehead.

As well OBV2 has double chin, OBV1 does not.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
