Okay so how rare is this coin, I can't find a number on how many silver dimes that year.(the last year they made silver dimes) it's in uncirculated condition, got from coin hunting banks. In terms of value and rarity?
My picture file is too big apparently but it's MS+, quite flawless in silver dime.

We'll never know exactly how many were struck in silver but given their abundance likely more than 25 million. Nice looking coin, could be MS65 cameo. If you spent $15-$20 to have it certified it would likely sell for about $10, that's the reality, most of the raw ones like yours fetch under $2. The value for most collectors is the thrill of finding something like this, it's a rare occurrence.Congrats!

Simply put, it's rare to find but not rare to sell.

Thanks, I'm definitely in it for collecting as a hobby. I don't sell anything until I want to retire. I have a pretty good retirement plan, I'm only 27. I've only began and I've got a good collection from just coin hunting banks. I've only ever bought one coin off ebay and it was only a 1951 Nickel.

So why would they list one showing a silver PL and my weight is different on two scales... I would clearly trust a trusted website rather then one comment with no explanation.
The PL isn't even my opinion, it's someone with more experience#8203; then anyone I've talked too... So probably no impurities in the coins make up that make it weight 2.27 not 2.33.

It really doesn't matter to me regardless, I'm not a seller, or a buyer. Only paid 5 cents for it so I'm Happy, just the weight is interesting that's all. Like I said above, the PL isn't my opinion. Sorry if I came across too blunt above, apologies.
