A somewhat tougher call in that the wear on the obverse is noticeably biased to one side, while the reverse is quite evenly abraded. I'm not sure if you'd be best served grading it on the basis of the better side or the worst one, or if a composite grade would be in order. I imagine that in any case it still doesn't even make G04. Colligo ergo sum

Good looking coin! With the reverse lettering basically gone, I could see this having a shot at at fair. Certainly falls short of Good.

Yes - I'd say FR02 - nice worn coin for sure!! Carry it around in your pocket for a year you might get the rare PO 01 grade -

It looks like it might make FR-2.

If the obverse was worn evenly like the reverse I'd say you'd be looking at a Po-1, solid Fr-2 as it sits

I would say FR-02. Would have been nicer at PO-1 though..
BUT Still very nice!

I'd be a bit the contrarian and suggest AG03. The visible remaining legends and devices on the obverse are too strong for an overall FR02 grade. Nice looking coin.

Agree, too much meat for anything but AG-3.

It's an oddball for sure, a split grade I guess.

Quote: Fair-2+ But you might be on to something. How cool would it be to have a coin certified at FR02+ or FR02 ? Then you could submit it for a CAC sticker to boot!
