I've seen other 2016 Cumberland Gap quarters & none have this color. The front has some discoloration but the back is dark & slightly multicolored. Can anyone tell me why this is? What causes it? Is it worth collecting? Is it an error & is it worth anything? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Not an error coin. It has environmental damage -- maybe it spent some time in the dirt.
