Likely a hammered gold coin 18-19th century, 16-20mm wide probably about 3 grams.

Let's try a Dropbox upload:

Hmm.. it sure looks like 1 tenga from the Khanate of Khiva (Central Asia), but those things were made of silver. I cannot seem to find any tengas made of gold, but there are some copper ones (though the ones I have found do not look like the coin in question). The link here will take you to the closest type of silver tenga I could find, which lists a lot of different dates.

Now, looking at this example of a slightly different type, the date seems to be written on both sides. That is probably the same with the coin in question, because only one side has a visible date—the side without a visible date in the first link I posted. Your coin looks like it is dated 1307, or around 1890 in the Gregorian calendar.

So, with all of that information, maybe you would be able to find an example made of gold? Unless, of course, the coin in question is actually made of silver.
