I would grade this dime VF-30, with a scratch on the obverse.

If problem free,
VF-20: Retail $80, Wholesale $60
EF-40: Retail $260, Wholesale $200

My estimate of the problem-free VF-30 value:
Retail $140, Wholesale $105
The scratch would probably reduce the value by 10-20%.

Oh yeah ... welcome to the forum!

Welcome,Murty!

I think this coin makes EF-40 for detail, but the scratches seriously hurt the value. Bilbo's price estimates look appropriate to me.

I would grade a bit more generously, large '4' variety, EF-45 with a shot at AU details--possibly cleaned at some point but nicely struck. The scratch, however, is in too critical an area for me to only subtract 10-20%. The VF retail price of $140 would be in my value ballpark though.

I would go EF- 45 also. Without in hand, it doesn't appear cleaned. The scratches might not appear as bad in real life as the magnification makes them stand out.

I mention possible cleaning because of the dark areas around stars/date and note that if cleaned it was done in a way that does not detract.
