Is it worth it to keep 50 cent coins? Unless they're in mint state their value probably wont rise for quite some time right? Is that safe to assume? SHould I just sell them for face value to make room for more important coins?

There's enough high grade MS examples floating around out there that you might as well just spend them if they're lower grade. Unless you have a 1982 small beads.

The Canadian 50 cent coins are among my favourite. Only lacking a few coins in MS/PL in my 1953-current set.

You can also give them to friends and family as small gifts, I am sure they would appreciate it very much. You can also use them as tips when tipping waiters in a restaurant, the waiters also like them.
