kzy Valued Member Canada 144 Posts	Posted 07/06/2017 6:15 pm I have Charlton Stnadard COin Catalouge. But it doesn't do me much good because I have trouble with grades. Also, I guess I'm hoping that by holding onto them they might go up in value? Spending 50 cents isn't much now a days anyways. So I was wondering to what year would be reasonable keeping? okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5594 Posts	Posted 07/06/2017 7:40 pm Spend everything from '68 on (some 68's as well) because there's no silver after you compare the dates that you have with a reliable pub or website. Use the 50 cents for tips to the paper person/barkeep .. most people have never seen one. Most parking meters older than 2-3 years take 50 cents as toonies because they are the same size ... it's not your fault that you are feeding it approved Cdn money and it misreads it .. it's so many minutes for a dollar.
