I am curious as to the terms. I believe it's called off strike but is there a percentage, how would it be phrased?
Thanks for the help!!

You can calculate the percentage if ypu measure the struck part and divide by the correct diameter which is 21.21 mm. Multiply by 100. Subtract that result from 100.Eyeballing this at a 65% off

I think it's an off-center broadstrike.

Maybe it's just an off-center strike.

See more info. here: http://www.error-ref.com/?s=broadstrike

and here: http://www.error-ref.com/?s=off-center+strike

Since most of the date is there, I'd guess it was worth a bit.

I'm not too experienced on telling whether it's a broadstrike as well as off-center.

You can check ebay SOLD listings for off-center Jeffersons that show the date/MM. I would say probably worth $15-$20.

Nice coin!

A broadstrike is struck out of the collar, just like an off-center error, but the entire design must be present. This coin is an off-center error in the 60-70% range. An OC with an identifiable date will be worth more than a dateless or indeterminant date example.
Rest in Peace

BigSilver is incorrect. You measure the extent of an off-center strike based on the width of the unstruck portion of the coin, relative to the normal diameter of a nickel. The meeasurement is taken from the midpoint of the internal margin of the "slide zone" to the edge of the unstruck portion of the planchet. This approach is necessary because the size of the struck tongue varies enormously due to variations in ram pressure and minimum die clearance during the strike.
