1830 50c Capped Bust - Coin Community Forum

bcow527 New Member United States 17 Posts	Posted 04/24/2008 10:43 am While going through my raw silver coins, I found an 1830 50c Capped Bust. I am trying to find out how can I tell if it is Large Letters or not. I tried to scan the coin, but it came out extremely bad. I am going to try and take a picture of it next, but I was hoping someone could help me identify the coin. Bill Report this Post to the Staff

Bonedigger Pillar of the Community United States 1267 Posts	Posted 04/24/2008 8:58 pm The (reverse) Large Letter variety is noticeably larger than the (Reverse) Small Letter variety at this link below. You will have to compare your coin to those listed though. One at a time, every variety of 1830 ever struck at this link.
