Found what appears to be a 1965 DDO penny. Just the number 5 appears to be doubled with slight notching along the back left corner of the 5. Thoughts?

Hi, Unfortunetly this does not look like a DDO to me.
Perhaps a VLDS or a couple hits caused it to look like this.
Just a normal coin IMO.

Hey I think I have the same coin! It also has a notch on the back of the 5. My coin is VERY beat up unfortunately & was about to pass it back into circulation when I saw your post. It's too much of a coincidence for the same coins to have the same notch & just be post mint damage. Have you found out any new info on yours?

******(Btw- COIN COMMUNITY.. this photo downloader is pure crap on this site, it took me 45 min to load these 3 & I had to crop out most of the coin. Note to staff at photo optimizer link, there is NO 'save changes' button to click, NO green arrow, even when photo is sized to 200kb. I guess the website host doesn't realize that when looking at details on coins, 300 kb isn't big enough to actually SEE details.)

Hello, don't throw that 65 away just yet. Today I was searching a searched bag of LMC's and a MS-64 RD 1965 caught my eye. This coin has notches on the 9, 6, and 5. It has lines on these numerals also, if its die grease gremlins...hmmm dont appear to be? When I ever finally get pics and get them loaded I will have some more experienced folks offer insight.
I'm chiming in as the 9 and the 6 are dovetailed enough to make any roll searcher take notice not to mention the serriff running vertically on the 5. More debate when I get a shot of this thing.
