Here is my Type II 3CS. I may have shown this one already, but here it is to keep the flow going. What do you think in comparison to PCGS? Thank you for your interest and comments.

MS63, outside chance at 64. I love everything about it except the weak strike on the top of the obverse star. And that's pretty common.

Well, I'm not going to argue with BSStrauss3 when it comes to 3CSs. Thanks to op for posting this beautiful coin and BS3 for sharing his expertise.

Oh, definitely argue with me... my expertise is with the circulated 3CS, I've stayed away from MS (except for building a grading set as I can on the cheap). Let's just say that my budget is more like Genesee Cream Ale not Corona.

MS61 - I do not see any wear on the coin. Not the most appealing, though partly due to possible die cracks and heavy polishing.

An attractive example with some nice toning. The coin is hard to find with nice toning. AU 58

I'm not seeing circulation. It might be hidden with the toning, but at least from these photos it appears MS.
The only significant damage is on the edge on the reverse, above the first I in III. I still think it's 62, even with that.
One thing I'm absolutely certain of is that the beautiful original toning on this coin is outstanding.
I really love this choice.

MS62 or 63 sounds about right to me.

This is a really nice coin for an AU58, CAC thinks so too! Sorry, an old image before JA put his "green bean" on it.
