Strong EF, probably 45. No hint of cleaning or dipping. No distractions. A really nice example. I like it.

Look up auction archives for this type on PCGS. Then subtract 15% from the average sale price because it's not graded. That's about as reliable of an estimate that you will get.

looks 45 but there is wear or strike weakness in the center on both sides. would look for a better struck example. shields are weak, but head is well truck.

I recently got this coin graded by NGC and it got xf cleaned. I think it is a harsh grade considering the patina

I'd grade it EF-45. Surprised it got a details grade, I don't even see a sign of cleaning from the pics.

That's the crapshoot that is TPG. Was it lightly cleaned at one time? It probably was but jeez louise there's 10x worse in problem-free holders.

I honestly see no signs of cleaning, which is why I gave it a go at NGC. I'm fine with the whole market acceptable cleaning thing as long as there is consistency. I've seen a lot worse in straight slabs... will post another clear pic when it is in hand again
