I just bought this, and would like to get other's opinions on grade and value.

Also wondering if it looks like a clashed die or whatever, just above her bust.

From what I see it definitely has been harshly cleaned. The scratches are NOT adjustment marks. The obverse will pull it into vf-20 details. I don't see anything that would warrant a graffiti designation.

I agree with VF Details. I saw your completed listing on ebay and while the price seems a little high it's hard to find a coin such as this for under $500. I would have estimated the retail value at $600 to $700.

P.S. I see the seller was very low feedback with some high dollar coins such as: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1851-O-20-G...AOSwjk9ZXZWb

Bidding history shows you as the winner of the $13000 double eagle? There's a couple red flags here a you need to be alert for. Caveat Emptor.

You had me freaked out for a minute! I did not buy that double eagle (not in the budget).

Silver City is an auction house, and they just started using ebay. I buy from them through proxibid, and I guess all bids and wins through proxibid shows on ebay as the same bidder. I've bought stuff from them before, and so far everything's been great.

As soon as I get the coin, it's going off to NGC. To me, it looks like there is a clash on the obverse, but I'll know more once it's in hand.

Fine sharpness, cleaned and scratched with probable graffiti. It's still worth hundred dollars given the price of no problem examples of these coins.

I met to say "a few to several hundred dollars" instead of "hundred dollars." My iPad one finger typing is not the best.
