It looks like a very nice struck coin but they do grade them based on all kinds of aspects like damage flaws or breaks in the coins shinny sheen which comes from oil and sweat from peoples hands you name it . But hey you never know what someone else may think ...

It's seen some circulation and is a tad off center, yet is surprisingly bright for that date. OTH, the mint mark looks interesting, can you get a close up of that?
Rest in Peace

Yeah , the first thing that caught my eye was the MM . Might be an RPM ?
There's too much light and glare on your pics ,hard to tell how much mint luster it really has . From what I can see it's a nice AU-58 + .

Valuable? If it's a normal business strike, no. Maybe a couple of bucks. They made over 44 million of them. I like the nice little die chip on the Rev. though. Still a good looking American coin though!

Its a solid strike because its a very new obverse die. Notice how the L in LIBERTY and the motto are away from the rim, the details are all the same original sizes and sharp edged tops. This die most likely has never been polished, original face. As it wears, those letters will curl up the rim and flatten out. Nice example oh how they're supposed to look!

Sorry tried to tone down the glare a bit! it looks slightly circulated, not sure if the markings in the field behind the Head are wear marks or light finger prints or both or may be neither! for sure a keeper, its a sharp coin.
