looks better than 65fh and am suspicious about the price.

coin looks too good to be true.

BUMP: The coin arrived today! Here are some images I took. It's pretty hard to photograph a coin this shiny very well but I tried my best.

That is a great looking coin, that shield is strong! The dings on the leg and gown area and the contact marks on the date are a little distracting, it's going to hurt the grade. Thinking MS-60, TPG might be more forgiving considering the overall condition of your variety 1 strike.

This coin has an odd look to it. I think that the surfaces have been etched somehow, either from too much dipping or some sort of a wipe. These coins have a frosted look when their surfaces are pristine.

I wish I could post pictures of a true MS-65, but the Photobucket problem is preventing me from doing that, and the moderators have knocked down my links to my NGC registry type set. I don't know how to post pictures here anymore.

There are issues with this coin, and that is why it was so cheap. The 1917-P Type I quarter comes well struck. The sharpness this piece has is not unusual.

Without Photobucket, it seems there are a few people who are having trouble with images. To upload pictures through the forum, you need to first click one of these buttons:

The first link beneath the new reply box says "Upload Image," so click that. A new screen will pop up, and you need to click the "Browse..." button. When you do, you will be able to look through your files and find the image you want to upload. When you have selected an image, click the "Upload File to billjones's post" button, then click "Upload Image." When the screen changes, you can close it, and the image will be imbedded in the text box.
