Is this a thin planchet? It weighs 2.12 grams.

It has been damaged. Either environmentally (corrosion) or intentionally with acid.

Chemically eroded, not an error. Fuzzy devices plus the lack of a rim are key indicators for that type of damage.

PMD. It was a acid job. It took a acid bath and that's why it looks that way. Keep looking though. :)

Caused by the coin being in an corrosive environment.
