These are my favourite pre decimal Australian coin design, Unfortunately this one has been heavily circulated which funnily enough is not that common. Aussie standards Fine Sheldon F15-VF20

The 1927 Parliament House 'Two Bob', otherwise known as the Canberra Florin, was the first of many designs by George Kruger Gray, issued into circulation for British and British Commonwealth Coinages.
He also designed the Beaver reverse for Canadian nickels.

Quote: how about this one That image quality doesn't allow a grade. The 1927 Canberra florin has a complex design and needs a somewhat experienced eye to discriminate the MS grades and quite some experience to identify a proof. Even though they only made a couple of million, they are very cheap in most grades. With the Parliament House commemorative coin - collectors want a perfect coin and usually the thing that gives it some value is the toning. Some have real eye appeal and are desirable. They were put aside, unlike the rare florins like 1914H and 1915 - a huge number of which were destroyed for silver. The 1915 is now arguably rarer than the 1932.

Sharpest strikes show a full three steps in front of Parliament House.
In this regard, I have seen twin auction lots of a proof, and a sharp early strike alongside each other, at a Noble Numismatics auction view day. The high MS early strike had the full three steps, but the proof did not show the full three steps.

First coin - aVF, George is too worn for a full VF, it is actually quite low for these coins, in which VF is an entry condition and EF is more standard.
The second coin is at least EF and a stunner.

Second coin isn't EF or a stunner. For one thing it looks to have been polished and the maces show significant wear, VF at best
