Hmm? If you are looking for a grade, maybe MS 61. I personally dislike the toning. Look for a PL 1880 S.

I'm thinking closer to 63 and if you can get it for a decent price why not? It's certainly not an added value toning but it sort of looks like a purple haze...

63. But please remember this date and mint mark are one of the most common of all in high mint state grades. A 63 for this is pretty low.

Barely made 63 IMO from the photos.

Perhaps bit better on hand?

I am not sure of the cause of the reverse toning. The reverse is a true haze, but when tilted slightly it has 4 colors minimum. The un-toned portion of the reverse I have seen only one other time at a resent show. The obverse has PL qualities, but a bit too much noise in the left field. I will pick this one up tomorrow for a fair price and put it into the oddity category. Thanks all, AG.
