Most of my coins that I have received with original tickets seem to be in fountain pen.Using very fine nibs.
What do you use for your tickets.I prefer to lay the coin on the written side.(Sometimes further info on the back)
What do you guys use? I have no problem with biro on flips.

Ballpoint or fine liner. In the case of the latter it smears if you don't give it a minute to dry.

Black and occasional red biro for mine Peter, although I have original tickets I've received that have been written with pen, fibre tip and ballpoint.

I've never noticed the various inks used to cause any problems, though of course mine are all hammered coins and so I worry about them less than if they had been BU copper or bronze.
