Having all of the original documentation, up to and including the sales receipt, makes this even more historically special. An exceptional addition to your collection. Congratulations.

Cool. I won my non-cc gsa by making a bet on the presidential election

The original receipt is a nice touch!

Thanks all ...

To me, this coin would be lucky if it got a MS 63 grade. Better bet that
it would grade MS 62. Back when the GSA's were being sold, the soft packs
were considered circulated coins. For example this coin most likely was
in a mint bag for over 90 years. Those bags were not handled very well.
You can see some good hits on the cheek and bag rubs on the high points.

I picked up this coin because it was part of the GSA horde and the price was
right. I am thinking winning it in a bet would be a better price ...

That's a very nice find GR58, especially with the historical provenance! Sure it might not be the highest graded Morgan, but the story and soft pack make it stand out, and it's still a beautiful coin!
