At this last RCNA in Quebec saw our version of a dime on a nail, The 1992 loonie struck on a washer and nut, the dealer collector didn't want pics until it gets slabbed, kind of cool although a possible natural creation I have my doubts

John100, are you competing with John1?! Are you trying to be better than him?! Sounds like a cool coin.

My understanding It's going to PCGS, if they slab it, it will be for all to see, the washer is steel about 25 cent size and the nut is small bronze colour about a 7/16 size. Not my units was shown but not offered

I also saw the nut and washer and they're the real McCoy's from what I observed.. Don't forget that the struck nail went for a bundle at the HA auction.. This RCNA has a few nice surprises..

John100,
Ever find out what happened with this coin? Are you able to contact the dealer who had it?

I am almost 100% sure it"s been sold many years a go, the asking price was kind of wicked.

Did it ever go to PCGS? I'd love to see a photo of it.

The same dealer sold you the BC errors awhile back, I asked about these a few years ago and was told they were sold, not sure who has them
