That's a really beautiful set you've put together, and you're so close to completion! Congrats! I'm nowhere near being done with my Washingtons, but I enjoy the thrill of the hunt.

I really like your '32. That would be a perfect addition to my collection. Congrats on a great album! Whats next? LOL.

I'd like to upgrade my Mercury dime collection but at the moment, I'm not thinking past snagging a nice 32 D and 36 D. It's just to darn easy to get side tracked in this hobby!

Very nice! Somehow I am terrified of using Danscos!

No need to be afraid. Mine coins and albums have held up well for over thirty years. However, I admit that the Dansco is not for everyone. Even I have decided to keep my second "high grade" Eisenhower dollar set coins in their slabs.

UPDATE: I haven't pulled the trigger on the 32-D and 36-D yet. I'm still comparing prices, grades, eye appeal, coins shows, on-line auctions, ebay, etc... Although it's not Mint State, I see this one out there and would like your opinions. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1936-D-PCG....m1438.l2649

Lovely set ... apologize for my lack of initial reply. Great job so far to assemble these. My thoughts FWIW ... the ebay seller 1936-D appears lifeless based on the photographs provided ... dull surfaces to my eye. Might be entirely different in hand ... You also should consider the visual matching of the potential new member with the existing coins ... you have already set a high standard for yourself ... so ask yourself ... will this 1936-D fit in visually with the set? David

Nice work on your set, USSID18!
Is that BIN price typical for what you can get a 36-D at? Many times I find the BIN auctions at the very high end of the scale.

David Good points David! Yes, that has crossed my mind as well. The coin might be a little bit visually degraded compared to the rest of the set. The pricing on this one seems to be in the ballpark. The Mint States I've looked at seem to be a bit over priced. It's hard getting pricing and eye appeal together without getting ripped off!
