Hello Coin Community, I came along someone who is selling this 1943 copper penny. They have mentioned that it doesn't stick to the magnet. However, is it worth buying (they're asking under $500) since the condition seems like it's fair and not so good? Will this condition decrease its value in the market? Also, they're not accepting returns. Should I take the risk?

That 3 looks very strange, and I think that coin is SO dirty. I would not risk it.

It's worth five or ten cents. It's not what you think it is and don't let anyone con you into believing other wise

Why not just flush the $500 down the toilet. Same thing.
If it was legit, it's a several hundred thousand dollar coin.

What stands out to me is that the coin is in terrible shape EXCEPT the date. Talk about bogus!

Could be a regular sterile just COATED in rust. I wonder if the seller would send you a video of a magnet test? I wonder if he'll even respond...

I would rather purchase a bridge, instead of that "coin".

Unless there's an 1877 IHC or 5 dollar Gold coin on the other end I'd hold off buying that roll.
