Love coins with this type of dark but original patina. What do you grade and value it?

VF35. This one is not a CC, so it should be cheaper. Looks original but it is a little dark for my taste. The reverse toning is not even but streaky. If you like the coin and the price, then it is ok. I prefer coins with some luster which are available in this series at reasonable prices.

Need better pictures. It hurts my eyes when trying to make out details. Try zooming in on it.

I suspect most of these folks would grade it XF-AU if there were better pictures.

from habit, if the photos aren't good I automatically down grade the coin for "safety".

Looks XF or so, but hard to be certain.

I can see the coin fine. VF my opinion. Obverse stars are flat and the eagle's feathers don't show enough detail for XF.

I agree with VF35. Darkness puts a step from environmental damage for most collectors.

No higher than EF-40, but better than VF-30. Can't see the details well enough to narrow it down further.

If you trim the photo closer to the coin you might be able to get a larger image making it easier to see the coin.
