Thanks all!!

Okay here we go.

How about another match the coin roind?
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

The copper art round above depicts a Nordic Mythological scene on both sides.

The Obverse shows Nidhoggr the mythical dragon the gnaws at the root of the world tree. You can see he is underground standing on the roots. in this scene.

The reverse depicts a scene of the World Tree also known as Yggdrasil. Yggdrasil is a Massive tree that connects the nine worlds in Norse mythology.

There are also three animals shown on the reverse.

The Stag known as Dainn (A Male red deer) is one of the four stags known to eat from the leaves of the world tree.

The snake (sea serpent) you see is know as Jörmungandr. Thought to be the child of Loki and Angrboða. Jörmungandr was taken as a child by Odin and tossed into the ocean that surrounds Midgard (Norse word for the Earth). It then grew so long that it could surround the world with its body.

There is also a Raven on the reverse this is one of 2 ravens known as Huggin and Munnin. According to Norse mythology these 2 fly all over the world and bring info back to Odin.

Now for the points. Hopefully this won't be too hard.

Points for metal size and type
2 Points for Bullion Coin
1 point for anything else (Medals and regular coins, etc etc.)

2 Points for 38mm and up
1 point for 37mm and below

2 points for .999 copper
1 point for any other metal composition

2 points for 1 oz AVDP
1 point for any other weight including 1oz Troy

Now points for the Theme.
Coins with multiples of these items are only counted once. For example if you post a coin with 2 stags only one of them may be counted.

2 points for Nidrhoggr, 1 point for any other dragon
2 points for a root from the tree of life, 1 point for any other tree root.
2 points for Yggdrasil 1 point for any tree
2 points for Jörmungandr, 1 point for any other sea serpent or snake.
2 points for either Huggin or Munnin 1 point for any other bird.
2 points for Dain 1 point for any other antlered stag.

Okay folks that's about it. Hope I didn't make it too complicated. Tie scores go to whomever posted first.

This round will end on Tues 12:30 AM Forum Time.

Good luck and let the games begin.

If anyone is interested and has some time take a look at this.
http://www.voluspa.org/voluspa.htm

It is a poem called Voluspa-The Prophecy of the Seeress. It is the first poem in the Codex Regius which is an Icelandic codex where a lot of old Norse poems are stored. It mentions everything that is on this rounds challenge coin.

If you are a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit pay particular attention to stanzas 10-20.

I believe that is a Zombuck. They are 1 troy ounce. 31.1 grams so your total stays at 8.

An AVDP or avoirdupois ounce weighs 28.35 grams.

Spruett jumps out with the early lead with 8 points.

This should be a fun round. Can't wait to see what will be posted.

I wanted to post the "Starving Liberty" (my favorite design), but the eagle got me an extra point.

What's the diameter of that? My gut tells me that is at least 38mm and if so, this would give you the lead with 9 points.

Points so far

Spruett...8
Crazyb0...8 (Possibly 9 if entry is 38mm or larger.)

Mont, it is 38mm, almost all the current copper rounds are at least 38, some come in at 39.
