Okay, but no one has officially declared me the winner - just "If no one else enters Princetane is the winner" or words to that effect.
Well here goes.
Coin Upgrade challenge.

The image shows 2 x 1943 New Zealand Florin coins. Both I own. The one on the left is barely VG, the one on the right is EF(XF).
Your challenge is to show a pair of upgraded coins of the same type! The person with the biggest gulf between the Before and After coin wins.
But to add more cream, I will offer points for the following.
1. Coin is the same type as in denomination - type (Eg
Morgan dollar)
2. The same year of minting (Double the points)
However
I will not allow the following.
Coins of different types (Say comparing a Morgan with a
Ike dollar)
If the coin was made in a different metal (Like a 1914 Mexican Peso with a 1975 one)
Either coin is severely damaged or altered
Coins are of a different size (Coins ideally should be from same era).
Must show photos of both coins front and back.
Scoring
1 point per full condition of difference.
Eg - VF to EF = 1 point
Conditions are Poor, Fair, Good, VG, Fine, VF, EF(XF), AU, UNC
Maximum score is 8 points.
Grading is by British/European standards - NOT American.American AU = British EF, American EF = British VF, American VF = British gFine, American Fine and down is same as British Fine and down. American MS60 = AU, MS63 and up = British UNC
All goods and abouts are
rounded down, so if your coin is rounded down if its aEF, has to be full EF or else its VF.
so VF, gVF, aEF = VF,
EF, gEF, aAU = EF
No extra point for MS grades, all MS count as UNC
DOUBLE YOUR POINTS IF THE COIN IS THE SAME YEAR.
My example is VG to EF = 3 points, x 2 = 6 points
Good luck and have fun.
