Dorado:
Arizona, cactus, flower, sun, mountains-sort of. That is five points
Crazybo:
I can't turn those central squiggles into mountains. The human figure is stylized and I might have missed it, but I see it so this gives you 5 points and in the lead as the first with 5 points.

I gotta have a hundred coins from Mexico from the 20th Century, but evidently not a single one from 1963. However, I did find this 25 Peso (1968 AD) with a full person, plus the vulture and cactus, to give me three points in this edition of NGF. Also, I have a request. In looking for this coin, I stumbled upon a coin from the Marshall Islands that commemorates the moon landing and has a image of the lunar lander. So, can we go back and re-run that edition so that I can improve my point score?

@Spence
I am sorry, but that ship has sailed! No turning back.
@Pepactonius
Those are sort of mountains like on the Arizona quarter, so it is only fair that you get a point.
So it seems that you are in the lead with 6 points.

I think more of a tongue-in-cheek request. If I knew my 1900s world coins a little better, I could probably score a bit higher on almost all of these editions.

This coin looks nice in hand, but not so nice in any picture I take of it. Here is a 5 córdobas piece from Nicaragua, 2012, which commemorates the Cordoba Centennial: (A better picture can be found here.) There are stars, a sun, the word Centenario, and volcanos (do those count as mountains?).

@joseph:
1. Yes, volcanos count as mountains 2. centenario: yes I guess any language is OK. I never thought of that, but CCF members are quite creative in getting points.

I've been urged by participants in another thread to post this piece here (and I'm having a hard time following exactly how this game has evolved to know that it's somehow appropriate to do so in any case). But here goes anyway.

@Lucky cuss, you have 4 points for this side. Could you post the other side too?
The winner of each round posts the new challenge item, and also determines how the points are calculated and the "deadline", usually 3 days from the first posting. Originally we determined points based on year, denomination, country, etc, but to maintain interest we have almost any way of matching. And, of course, we are not restricted to just coins but any numismatic/ exonumia item is a possibility.

The word "arizona" gets you a point. The stars in the flag get another point.

Quote: The word "arizona" gets you a point. The stars in the flag get another point. The Arizona flag or the U.S. one? Alright. There's a second saguaro on the reverse as well. Is that yet another point? That'd make my score 7 by my count. BTW, besides the flags and badges, there's another 36 stars on this challenge coin! If I were to win this round, I have a Greek coin with really bizarre design elements which ought to prove pretty tough to match up with....
