There is a 1973-D half DDO but it is in the lettering "TRUST". So yep, just MD.

I do appreciate the info. But Mark1959 response has peeked my interest. Is it possible that a new or undiscovered DDO is out there lurking in the shadows?

Just by it's appearance, it's almost 100% surely MD. Very unlikely it's an undiscovered DDO.

I think maybe explaining why we are calling it MD will help.

I'm not saying it's not MD. I can agree with that. As most of my coins are.I was just posting a secondary question as to if there might be unfound DD's out there! I do love the discussion though, and I do appreciate the replies!
