Ignoring the pepper toning for a technical grade of 64. I see scratches in the plastic which can also be ignored.

I've been trying to find a 1934 myself in high grade and they are so Scarce. Very rarely hitting any market, other than ebay at twice the value.

If you can live with pepper, fair enough.

I have a hard time telling the difference with Washington quarters in MS - I'll go in the middle and say 64 also.

Just to clarify, the coin is mine in-hand.

At least the pepper is a pretty purple I think I could get used to it as the coin itself is exceptional.

That's some brilliant luster in the context of what one expects from this series. In fact, if any other indicators were present - they're not, and indeed there are reasons against thinking so - I'd worry that it were polished. Are those the full-size images, or is it possible to crop them to just the coin and reduce size less for posting?

Tom , do you want me to tell you the truth or lie about my feelings for this coin ? In this case the grade on your Quarter means nothing to me , but this splotchy black and purple is messing with my DNA and transforming me into a neurotic . Sorry for being so blunt ,but many know I call em as I see em . I don't Sugar coat unless someone posts a blazing white beauty 67-68 .

Not a fan either. From what I see, this could well be a details coin.

Not a problem Tony. I like the opinions, positive or negative. That's why I post them here.

I understand and appreciate your opinion. Not everyone is a fan of toners. Many consider it damage.
