Peter4805 Pillar of the Community Canada 987 Posts	Posted 08/20/2017 11:49 am I agree that this coin is a tough one to grade It appears to have been softly struck. There is possibly some slight rub on the obverse above Victoria's ear. On the reverse it looks as if the leaves between 12 and 2 o'clock may have ever so slight wear, but I could be wrong. I would assign this coin a grade of AU-58. Report this Post to the Staff
okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5594 Posts	Posted 08/20/2017 12:18 pm Wear-wise, I'd say AU-50/55, because of the wear on the leaves, temple hair, and buns. There is also environmental damage and cleaning that will lower the overall grade, maybe to 40/45. Report this Post to the Staff
