Americans always grade their gold severely. That is OK. I think that is is basically in line in how the British grade ALL of their coins, not just gold.
This one: AU58, (fewer than normal nicks and scratches for that grade), I think that I see a tiny amount of wear on the hair over Liberty's ear, and on one or two of the high points of the eagle's feathers.
