This FEC from 1857 AD had a mintage of about 17.5 million:

Sadly, I'm not one of the couple thousand folks who own a '56.

Sadly, I don't have any FEC, and was unable to post my Large Cent. All the coins look great everybody!

I checked the rules, I don't see where you can't be late.
Post it when you can CollectionMaster

1858 small letters Flying Eagle cent
I see the values for either is the same, so there is probably half of the total mintage of 24,600,000 for each at around 12,300,000.
The 1858 Flying Eagle cent was minted in two varieties, Large Letters and Small Letters. To differentiate between the two coins, the small letter variety has a space between the letters "A" and "M" in America and the large letter variety has almost no space between the "A" and "M" with the letters almost touching. I also notice that the tip of the eagles wing points toward the rim on a Large Letters and points to the tip of the A on the small letters.

Ok yes good logic. I didn't take that step when I selected mine for today.

I have one Flying Eagle cent, which is from 1857 (with a mintage of 17,450,000):

It may be in terrible condition, but it was a junk bin find.

1861 is kinda special to me - it's the coin I found as a child playing in the front yard which was the seed for my love of numismatics. One of the (many) collecting goals on my bucket list is a grading set of them.
