Just curious as this was the first time I've sent off a coin to be graded....
What's the general turnaround time for Anacs? According to my account on their site, the estimated ship date was 8/21/17, but the order has been sitting in "processing" for the better part of 2 weeks. The coin arrived in their hands on 7/31.
Is this typical and I'm simply being impatient?

I had the same question last week: http://goccf.com/t/294695 Mine was shipped 2 days after I posted the thread, and my coins arrived on Tuesday (2 days ago). Keep in mind, they were doing a big sale, and yours were received about 2 weeks after mine were hand submitted at the FUN show.

Yes it takes a while. They don't always update the info on the accounts.

Patience and it will arrive soon. Before winter, for sure.

When you login and check the status of your submission, it should show a projected shipping date. In my experience it gets shipped back within a few days of that date ...

With that ship date ... I would call them. I have called for most of my submissions, they have always been helpful. If any of the coins submitted require special attention. For example identifying VAM's that could take longer.

Funny.....the updated the order just a little while ago to shipping, but no tracking # is yet attached. I was super stoked that I was correct in spotting this coin. An extraordinarily cheap purchase turned out to be a good one. I know the condition sucks, but all I wanted was the doubled eye with 3rd party attribution to finish my slabbed silver nickel set! I've never had to wait longer than a week or 10 days past the estimated ship date. The run a little behind, but not too bad. It just extends the excitement a little longer.
