Looks like it is incuse as it parted the S as it went through it and not over it, like the one through the you & R so I'll say scratch - PMD. Unless the picture is messing with with my eyes. PS: was looking at it again and my only other thought is- could it be a "struck through error" ? Edited by Mark1959

The damage on the letter S occurs in the word PLURIBUS. There are five or six similar scratches scratches all over the rev. I'm thinking PMD. "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

A wounded mintmark! Oh no! Just kidding. It looks like etheir a Struck Through or PMD. Errers and Varietys.

As Spence mentioned, there are several very similar marks especially over LUR and FIVE CENTS. It's difficult to tell but, I'd say they are either all PMD or all struck-through debris.  In Memory of Crazyb0 12-26-1951 to 7-27-2020
