I found this Die Clash the other day, it shows a good portion of the eagle's wing on Kennedy's head. I think it's pretty neat so I'm sharing it with ya'll. Comments welcome.

That's very cool. Makes Kennedy look like he has wrinkles on his head.

After looking at the pictures of an overlay I'm not seeing a clash - just an extremely deteriorated die. Can you point out what you think is a die clash? The eagles wing should be on his cheek to chin area and the other wing would be on the back of his neck area.

EandV, Wrinkles? Hsha.
Mark, look at the second pic right between his eye and ear and north. That's the tip of the eagle's wing and down to where it crooks. Behind his eye are polishing marks. The tip was pretty deep in the die. It's a rotated clash.
If I'm incorrect I hope somebody tells me.

It's too obscure for me to definitively say for sure it is a die clash. If it is, it's just a kiss. Maybe better lighting/different lighting for a comparative?

CoinMasters,

It's hard to say whether or not it is a Clash, usually the lower outline of the Wing ends just below the Eye perimeter and usually there are sister clashes on the reverse as well.Perhaps Mike Diamond can chime in,he is a co-author on maddieclashes.
Below is the overlay by Jason Cuvelier

I think not just a kiss Redfin, It's pretty far in a recess in the die. The pics are about how it looks in hand.
Thanks for the overlay Chase. Looks like if it is a clash, it's rotated pretty good. As far as the reverse goes, it doesn't seem to be the reverse die that clashed.
Any opinions are appreciated.

Looking at the overlay presented I find it impossible for a wing tip to get into Kennedy's head cavity. Just follow each wing tip around the coin and never does either one land in the cavity between his eye and ear. I can't think of a scenario how that could happen. (Although I guess in coin collection one should never say never!)

Yes you have a good point Mark, I no longer believe it's the tip. I do believe it's part of the wing though. I don't know what else it could be. I'm open to opinions.

May be so
I am interested in seeing a close up of the back of the Neck image ( no glare if possible! I know these are tough shots to produce),it looks interesting enough to explore, looks like Clash as well, perhaps One more shot of reverse with no glare if you can.

Okay Chase but it'll take me a while. I shoot my pics in 100 to 200 lots, this one will be the first of my next lot. Thanks.

Not seeing a clash. No way is a clash going to get that deep into the recesses of the cheek/eye area without ALL of the rest of the design showing up in the fields.
