Anyone has any idea why the value of the ladybug coin increased 10 times? Because of the Italian glass?

Novelty coin with the mintage of 5000.
In the 2011 it was enough.
Additional "push" was given to coin by the subsequent 2012 Bumblebee, which has been issues with 10K mintage. So the 'extra' Bumblebee owners started to search for the Ladybug, making coin "hotter"

The 2011 Ladybug coin sold for $708(including buyers fee), well below estimates, but within ebay ranges. Asking prices on ebay are very high but sold prices in recent months are below $1000. Still the buyer got a good deal at $708.

As for the rest of the auction, prices were mostly well below estimates, which is on par for NCLT auctions. Most lots sold for 30 to 50% off estimates. Good bargains all around even when fees are factored in.

There are a few exceptions. Some sold for high prices that are close to or exceed issue prices. The 2013 $5 25th anniversary coin sold for $106. The 2012 raindrop coin sold for $118. The 2012 Glass Venetian Bumblebee sold for $177. The Last Penny roll went for $107. The 2016 QE 90th birthday sold for $112 (close to issue price but usually over $200 on ebay).

Also, a company called La Monnaire is having an auction too.
Not familiar with them.

I see where this is going. We're gonna have all different conversations at the same time. Each auction can have it's own topic.
