I did not dig up this coin. I bought it on ebay. It was obviously in the ground but the earth treated this 1896 Victoria Penny very kindly.

It looks to have been brand new when lost and has taken on a beautiful jade green patina. You seldom see a "dug up" coin looking this nice and I thought I'd share it with others.

My earth treats all the coins I dig like dirt. The look like they've been sand blasted when I dig em up.
