This question is bascially focusing on OPINIONS and oviously they differ. So I doubt you will get a definitive response.

Depending on who you ask you'll get a widespread set of answers. I can tell you that better date 3-cent nickels are underpriced compared to what they're fetching on the bourse floor and auctions. Also, most Early Proofs (ironically, in this case I would not include 3CN) are pretty grossly underpriced on the sheet. I'd love to know what type of crap dealers are buying or who they're ripping if they're paying those prices for those coins.

I think this would be a really good question on the PCGS and NGC boards. There are a lot more dealers and advanced collectors on those boards.

Your question is a bit vague. Are you talking about Greysheet prices that are lower than the average market value or are you talking about buying coins at under Greysheet values?

Sorry for the lack of clarity. I would like to know what coins on the Greysheet are lower then average market values so I can then start buying them. My intention was NOT to buying coins under the Greysheet values.(although that would be great)

Everyone is disposed to answer this question based on what they collect, so I will join in. I watch the Buffalo nickels and Walker halves -- what I see is that the Buffalo Matte Proofs 1913-1916 look lower in the Greysheet than they should (I only look at Greysheet online every few months so I am not following trends). These proofs are relatively hard to find, compared to Buffalos in general and I see prices as generally higher.
