I have decided to thin the herd a little and wonder what would be the best way to move these. Don't really want to release them back into the wild. I have enjoyed these for years so thought maybe someone else may want to do the same. I have about 275 wheat cents with die cracks, chips, and the like. Also over 300 Memorial cent with the same. Have 70 Wheat BIE'S and 7 Memorial; 18 Wheat Clipped Planchet and 1 Memorial; 18 Wheat Cud's and 14 Memorial. Need opinions on best way to move these. I have done the ebay things in the past and it just gets to be a bigger hassle every time. Don't have enough post to put on CCF Member Sales.

John hit the nail on the head. Small lots. Ex: 'clipped planchet five different years' Or '56, 47, 45D Cud errors' Or '5 different errors on five different years!' Etc. Easier to sell and faster, also makes ebay less of a hassle.

First, I moved this post to the appropriate forum for the proper attention. Second, ramjethero already mentioned it, but I will remind everyone else about our Buy/Sell/Trade Rules.

Okay, if you had a post here that was just removed, it is because you failed to see what I said above. Read them. Know them. Live them. This is not the right forum and suggesting ways to get around limits is certainly a no-no.

Not trying to get around any rules. I just ask how I put my email address in my profile. No big deal, I will just sign off the forum.

ramjethero, you did not do anything wrong, at least not with any malicious intent. I even noted above how you mentioned yourself that you did not qualify for CCF sales. My warning was for everyone else and few of them chose to colour outside of the lines. With that being said, I had to remove your reply with the others because it would have made no sense on its own.

Save the wheat cents. I just put the memorials back into circulation, unless they are copper cents. The most extreme I save for images if I need examples to take images of. When I first started collecting I put all those items in 2X2's, but now realized I wasted 4 cents per cent puting them in the 2X2's. Live an learn.....

Coop - I absolutely love that image... and I intend to use it at future coin workshops that I give...
Did you create it? If not, do you know who did?

I snagged it off the internet. I saw one years ago and just looked it up and copied it. I like images as they tend to remain on the brain longer and say a lot of typing to make a mind memory.
