clt64, ma'am, I'm one year older than you, if I can figger this here site out, anyone can! Stick with us, you'll get it eventually

with the Dryer Coin, it is probably a "tumbler", one that was caught in between the rotating drum and outside shell. The constant banging around, rolling, left those effects.

I understand. We all do.

Every once in awhile someone does find something really good -- and it keeps the rest of us searching and searching and hoping for a good find.

Hi, it's me again.
I hate to keep running over this again & again.
But would you look at the top of that penny, around the edge.
To me that looks like its stamp marks.
Again around on the left bottom side is an rippel. I dont know but I just get a feeling when I look at it. Will you look closer?
I dont know to upload another photo where I out arrows at.
Rest in Peace

Yeah, still looks, to me, like it was damaged in a machine. It might have been hung up in an odd position. There's no way to know for sure. But the coin shows all the signs of the metal being repeatedly stressed.

It is a curious thing to look at, but it is just damaged.
