Please, if you have the time, grade this 1968 D Proof quarter.

The obverse pictures are good, it's the reverse I'm having trouble with but ... it's getting better!

Very nice example. Probably right around A proof 66. Cameo DMPL on obverse, but no cameo on reverse.

Get a can of compressed air to blow all the lint of of this before you put it in its holder.

Hey there,
I literally just broke the seal on this set because of the quarter and obverse "cameo" look of it. I will grab some compressed air -- thank you for the suggestion!

Question: Are those all spots on the coin or bits of plastic from the case? Can you take another picture of the coin? Were you planning on submitting the coin?

Hey there,
I believe the spots are plastic as I had just literally broken open the case due to the quarters cameo obverse. I did spray the coin with canned air to get the little specs and dust removed from the coin.

I will take some additional pictures (with proper lighting).

I appreciate your comments and, if it seems to be worth it to submit the coin for grading purposes, that is what I'd like to do ... just wanting a few more opinions from the community.

Watch for the new pics -- will try to get to this as soon as possible.

Thank you!
